The Essential Outdoor Upgrade
In Singapore, a balcony is a luxury that ends up seldom used. Our outdoor roller blinds are the heavy-duty answer to sun, glare, and rain. Built to withstand the humidity and the heat, they allow you to keep your balcony cool and private without sacrificing the breeze.
It’s the simplest, most effective way to turn a “hot balcony” into your favourite corner of the home.
Our Signature Collections

The Seamless Duo | Flat Bar System
The go-to choice for wider balconies. This system uses a weighted flat bottom bar and a cable guide tucked discreetly behind the fabric. It’s designed specifically for side-by-side panel installations, minimizing the gaps between blinds for a more continuous shield.

The Clean Solo | Round Bar System
Sleek, modern, and sturdy. This system features a round bottom bar with side-mounted cable guides. It’s our recommendation for single-panel installations where a clean, symmetrical look is the priority.
Questions?
1. Are outdoor blinds effective against rain and wind?
Think of standard outdoor roller blinds as your balcony’s first line of defence. They are absolute lifesavers against light rain, that blinding 3 PM afternoon glare, and strong tropical breezes. Because they use a flexible cable-guided system rather than a locked side track, there will always be small gaps at the sides. This means during those heavy, driving monsoon storms we get in Singapore, a little bit of rainwater might still mist through onto the balcony.
If you live on a very high floor or experience extreme weather, it’s always best to roll them up to keep them safe. If you want a 100% total seal against the rain, you’ll definitely want to check out our ZipScreen system instead!
2. Can outdoor blinds handle the Singapore weather?
Absolutely! These are built from the ground up for our tropical climate. They easily handle our intense humidity and heat without warping or fading, turning your hot balcony into a much cooler, way more usable extension of your home.
3. Can outdoor blinds reduce glare?
Oh, 100%! They cut out that uncomfortable, blinding glare significantly. By stopping the sun at the balcony, they keep your indoor living spaces much cooler and more comfortable throughout the day so you can actually watch TV or work without squinting.
4. Are outdoor blinds 100% waterproof?
It’s best to think of them as “highly water-resistant.” They do a fantastic job of blocking heavy rain splashes and keeping your outdoor sofa dry during a normal downpour. However, their primary jobs are sun protection, privacy, and letting a nice bit of airflow through.
5. Flat Bar or Round Bar: Which one should I pick?
It really comes down to the style and vibe you want for your home:
- Flat Bar System: The perfect choice if you have a wide balcony. If you need to place multiple panels side-by-side, the flat bar layout keeps everything looking perfectly aligned, neat, and seamless.
- Round Bar System: Sleek, modern, and minimal. This is our go-to recommendation for single-panel setups or smaller cozy nooks where you want a punchy, low-profile look.
6. Do I get my privacy with outdoor blinds?
Yes, you do! You’ll still be able to enjoy the breeze and look out at the view, but your neighbours across the block will have a very tough time seeing inside. It acts like the perfect invisible shield for enjoying your morning coffee or lounging around in your home clothes over the weekend.
7. What is the max size of outdoor blinds?
We customize them to fit, up to these dimensions per panel:
- Manual System: Up to 2.5m wide x 3m drop.
- Motorised System: Up to 3m wide x 3.5m drop.
If your balcony is wider than this, don’t worry at all! We will simply install multiple panels side-by-side so the whole system stays perfectly stable, safe, and easy for you to operate.
8. Is motorisation worth the extra cost?
In our experience, yes—especially for outdoor spaces! Motorisation isn’t just a luxury feature; it’s a massive convenience. Being able to lower three or four heavy outdoor blinds simultaneously with just a single press of a button means you are way more likely to actually use your balcony every day.
9. Are outdoor blinds suitable for landed homes?
Definitely! They are a huge favourite for ground-floor patios, open pergolas, and outdoor dining areas in landed estates. They instantly bring that relaxing “resort vibe” to your backyard while keeping your outdoor dining spaces cool and shaded.
10. How long do outdoor blinds last?
Thanks to our high-quality, weather-tested materials and just a little bit of regular care, these blinds are designed to stay looking good and working perfectly for many years—even under our punishing Singapore sun and humidity.
11. How do I clean outdoor blinds?
No fancy or expensive chemicals are needed here! A gentle rinse with your regular garden hose, some mild dish soap, and a soft-bristle brush will easily clear away any dust, city grime, or accidental bird droppings.
12. What if my balcony is curved?
We love a good challenge! While the blind panels themselves are straight, we can beautifully “segment” the installation. By placing multiple smaller panels at precise angles, we can perfectly follow the unique curve of your balcony without leaving any awkward gaps.
13. Are outdoor blinds better than traditional bamboo chicks?
By far! While old-school bamboo chicks have that nostalgic charm, they tend to absorb water, attract mold, trap dust, and rot over time. Our modern outdoor blinds are vastly more durable, incredibly easy to wipe clean, and match the clean aesthetic of a modern Singaporean home perfectly.
14. What is the warranty for Outdoor Blinds?
We provide a 1-year warranty for our manual systems and a 3-year warranty for our motorised systems, which covers the motor, the internal hardware, and the moving mechanisms. Just note that the fabric itself isn’t covered since it takes the brunt of our daily wear-and-tear and non-stop tropical sunshine!
